Ocean Drive is a major thoroughfare in the South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach, Florida, United States. It is known for its Art Deco hotels. Ocean Drive is also the location of the famed Versace mansion, one of the most photographed houses in North America. The street is the center of the Miami Art Deco District, which is home to about 800 preserved buildings. Streamline Moderne evolved from the Art Deco style, and dominates the street.
The lower end of Ocean Drive is also a "must go" destination for club hoppers and fans of classy nightlife, who travel to Nikki Beach Club during the day and Opium Garden/ Privé at night. Ocean Drive is also home to some of the hottest restaurants in Miami, such as the celebrity frequented Prime 112. Ocean Drive also offers something for the avid shopper, with stores ranging from high end boutiques to the more affordable shops.
